On December 4, 2025, cybersecurity leaders, practitioners, and executives gathered at the Crowne Plaza Ortigas for this year’s Information Security Forum, an annual event organized to strengthen collaboration and elevate the cybersecurity posture across organizations under JG Summit Holdings, Inc. The forum brought together CISOs, CIOs, IT managers, and security professionals to discuss the evolving threat landscape and the strategies needed to stay ahead of increasingly sophisticated attacks.
This year, IPV Network was honored to be invited as a guest speaker, contributing a session focused on one of the most pressing topics in cybersecurity today: the rapid evolution of attacker strategies. During the talk, our team unpacked the 2025 Threat Landscape, highlighting the trends shaping cyber risk from the rise of AI-assisted attacks to the growing complexity of multi-vector intrusion campaigns.
One of the key points emphasized in the session was the shift in how attackers organize and innovate. Threat actors are no longer working in isolation; instead, they operate like agile businesses, collaborating in underground marketplaces, outsourcing tasks, and continuously refining their tools. This has resulted in faster attack cycles, more targeted campaigns, and threats that adapt in real time. We also discussed how ransomware operators are now layering extortion methods, how phishing has become more personalized and harder to detect, and why identity compromise continues to be one of the most exploited attack paths across industries.
Beyond presenting the evolving risks, IPV also outlined practical recommendations that organizations can implement immediately. These include enhancing visibility across external attack surfaces, modernizing detection and response capabilities, and prioritizing continuous security awareness training. As attackers evolve, organizations must focus not only on their technology but also on empowering their people, ensuring that employees become active participants in defense rather than the weakest link.
The forum provided more than just a platform for knowledge sharing; it also opened valuable opportunities for collaboration. With many CISOs and senior IT leaders from JG Summit Holdings, Inc. in attendance, the event allowed the IPV team to engage in meaningful conversations about the challenges faced by large, diverse enterprises. These interactions enabled us to introduce IPV Network’s mission and share how our solutions are helping organizations strengthen cyber resilience through a combination of technology, intelligence, and human-centric defense.
We are grateful for the warm reception and the insightful discussions that followed the session. Events like the Information Security Forum underscore the importance of community in cybersecurity—because threats move fast, and no organization can stay ahead alone. Collaborative environments such as this forum help accelerate learning, deepen partnerships, and align stakeholders around a common goal: protecting people, data, and critical operations from ever-evolving threats.
IPV Network extends its appreciation to the organizers and participants for making the event a success. We look forward to continuing the conversation and working together to build a more resilient, secure future for the organizations that power the nation’s growth.
